Are you frustrated by prerecorded training?

Image of a person using a laptop computer and becoming so angry that they are clutching a hammer ready to smash the screen - a think that could be avoided with some good training

Having a live tutor means that you can ask questions, clarity points, and have the training tailored to your own needs and experiences.

With prerecorded lessons, even the most expert trainers can miss details that are important to you, or spend too much time on things you already know.

If you would like someone to listen to what you want to achieve, explain it in a way that you understand, and give you the time to make notes and ask questions, we can help.

This is computer training with you in mind.

How it Works

2. Discuss your needs

3. Book on-line lessons

You’ll speak to your tutor live and see their computer screen. It’s like YouTube but you get to ask questions!

Life’s too short to spend hours watching on-line courses

Learn what you need to know so you can complete your tasks and get on with your day

We care about helping you get your jobs done

We offer computer training for people who don’t like watching hours of prerecorded courses that take forever to get to the point and don’t allow you to ask questions.

You get focused, personal attention at affordable prices.

We concentrate on teaching the skills that you need to work efficiently and move on.

Try Us Without Risk

  • We are very fair about refunds. We’ll check with you at intervals during the session and volunteer a full or pro rata refund if you’re not learning what you want to know. You won’t need to make a fuss to get your money back.
  • Be reassured that, if you try to connect on time but Zoom lets you down, we’ll rebook or refund (it’s your choice which.) This rarely happens; Zoom is very reliable.

Answers to Frequently Asked Questions

What equipment will I need?

An internet connection, plus any device capable of running the free Zoom app – this includes Mac and Windows computers and laptops, most tablet computers and most mobile phones. One point of the discovery call is to ensure the technology works. However, if you are unsure, either message us in the chat box, use our Contact Us page, or visit Zoom’s help page.

During your training sessions you will need to see our screen clearly, so make sure your screen is big enough for that.

What software can you train me in?

  • Microsoft Excel
  • Microsoft Word
  • Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Microsoft Outlook including setting-up your email address
  • How to use your Windows 10′ computer
  • How to use the Internet
  • WordPress website building
  • Getting started with eBay, Facebook, LinkedIn and other popular sites

Can more than one person attend a session?

Absolutely. Feel free to invite others. We do not charge more for group training. During the discovery call, we can discuss whether you want ‘let the group decide what to cover’ training or a structured session following a pre-agreed plan. Be aware that with more people come more questions. This can slow down the training. Please keep this in mind and book extra time as you feel is appropriate.
